The Team Headband is a great way to show off your team spirit and at the same time keep those ears warm when the temperatures turn colder this fall!
Note: this article was previously posted on ASimpleHomestead.com. I’ve updated the pattern here in the Shop and revised this post as well!

The Team Headband was actually made for Papa, even though I’m wearing it for the photos. I often saw him heading out to the chicken coop in freezing temps and coming back with ice-cold ears. He always wears a baseball cap and rarely wears a winter hat. I thought perhaps he could just slip this headband on to protect his ears during those cold temps.

The Team Headband pattern comes in 3 sizes – Adult Small, Medium and Large (18″, 20″, 22″) (46, 51, 56 cm) circumference. It’s stretchy enough that it will fit a variety of heads!
The instructions include steps on how to knit the rounds using the Jogless Stripes technique. If you’re not familiar with that technique, it just means that you’ll have a smoother transition at the beginning of the round when you change colors.
Made in 100% wool it will keep your ears nice and warm while watching those cold-weather sports!
