I’m excited to announce the Homecoming Fingerless Mitts pattern! This was a request from my daughter rather than the standard enclosed fingers. I love this type of open-fingered mitten for cold days in the office.

Even though there isn’t much for in-person sports this fall, these would be the perfect mitts to wear to those fall events, which is why I named them the Homecoming Fingerless Mitts.
I haven’t made a pair of fingerless mittens since I released the Ribbed Fingerless Mitts pattern in 2016!

This pattern comes in a variety of sizes from Child Large through Adult Large. The finished mitts have bit of positive ease so they are roomy in case you need to move your fingers, such as for typing.
The two larger Adult sizes have an additional section of the stitch pattern so it travels all the way up to the top ribbing. In other words, the bottom stitch pattern is repeated above the stripes.

There are countless variations you can make with the color combinations. I had some testers make one mitt with a dark background and light stitches, but the other mitt had the opposite (light background and dark stitches).

This pattern is also available on Ravelry and LoveCrafts.
